For the ultimate in power and hill-climbing performance, the PrecisionCut Fairway Mowers offer turbo-charged Yanmar diesel engines across the product line. For even more hill-climbing power, the 8000 Series uses a 43.1 horsepower turbo-charged diesel engine with an intercooler to handle the toughest conditions. The 7000 Series features a 26 gallon per minute servo-controlled hydrostatic pump, while the 8000 Series features a 30 gallon per minute servo-controlled hydrostatic pump. These large flow pumps are the heart of the hydraulic traction system and produce plenty of flow to make the PrecisionCut Series the best climbing series in the history of John Deere fairway mowers. Along with the increased hydraulic flow comes increased capacity wheel motors to handle the flow. The 7000 Series features large 17.1 cubic inch displacement wheel motors. The 8000 Series provides even more hill-climbing power yet, with even larger 18.9 cubic inch displacement wheel motors. For superior traction with a true hydraulic 4WD, the GRIP All-Wheel Drive Traction System is optional equipment for the PrecisionCut Fairway Mower. This system reduces wheel slip by sending flow from the front wheel to the opposite rear wheel. In addition, the 7000 Series and 8000 Series PrecisionCut Fairway Mowers also feature 14.5 cubic inch displacement rear wheel motors. This represents nearly a 200 percent increase in displacement on the 7000 Series in comparison to prior John Deere models in its class, and a 70 percent increase on the 8000 Series. This adds up to serious traction power. Double acting, single-rod hydraulic steering cylinder for lines on fairways as straight as a greens mower. The foot-operated, tilt steering system is very compact to increase overall room for the operator. To adjust the steering column, simply depress the brown tab at the bottom left of the steering column with your left foot. When the desired steering column position is achieved, simply release the tab, and the column locks into place. Controls are at your fingertips on the 7000 and 8000 Series PrecisionCut Fairway Mowers. The operator command arm is conveniently located to the right-hand side of the operator. To maximize operator comfort, the command arm features a padded armrest, cup holder, and operator controls that move with the seat. The 7500 and 8500 PrecisionCut Fairway Mowers are equipped with five 22-in (55.9 cm) cutting units for an effective width of cut of 100-in (254 cm). The cutting units feature a 7-blade, heavy-section reel for moving in tough cool season or warm season grasses. The rear roller is used to fine tune height-of-cut adjustments to your desired height of cut within the selected range of the front roller. Contacts Entrance 6A, 6, 3d Frunzenskaya Str., |
